Babies

      I haven't met anyone yet that doesn't get excited about a new life coming into the world. I'm one of those people. It doesn't matter whether it's a baby kitty, puppy, calf or a chick. This Mama gets excited. And when it comes to my Gandbabies; well, there aren't words to describe those feelings.

      The one thing that excites me the most is to see someone be born again. To watch them start a new life and to take their first steps in learning to walk with the Lord. John 3:3...Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

      Or to see a Christian, who has lost their balance, stumble, and fall, reach for the Saviors hand and hold tight until they're steady again. Psalms 37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

      A New Life! Those words are thrilling to hear. It doesn't mean that you are a bad person. It means you believe that Jesus Christ came to make a way for you to come home to the Father. And you want to do your best to walk in his steps. Get off that rocky road. Take those baby steps that are sometimes wobbly at first and receive a brand new birthday.

      With every step baby Jesus took it brought him closer to the cross. With every step you take let it bring you closer to your Father in Heaven. He's waiting with open arms to lift you high with joy!

Take those first "Baby Steps"

Pray: Dear Lord, thank you for loving me so much that you sent Jesus to die for me that I might be saved. I confess that I am a sinner and ask that I be forgiven my sins. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Read God's word. Don't run when you should be walking. Make sure you drink the milk until you're ready for the meat. 1Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.

Find a church. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...but exhorting one another...

May the dear Father prepare you on earth for a beautiful birthday in heaven.
