Have a seat, and let's get to know each other better.
As you can tell I'm very casual. I love to go barefoot. So I fell for these graphics. Another thing I like is daisies. Visit He Loves Me my anniversary page to learn why. Now I don't like frogs, but my grandsons do. I like to collect Currier & Ives Tins. I love the winter scenes. I've started collecting lambs. Our initals put together spells lamb. I thought it was cute. So don't be surprised if you see a few lambs here. I've been married 32 years. We have 2 children and 7 grandkids. We love living on the farm. We call it the "Poor Farm". Here in the Ozarks our main crop is "rocks"! Giggle! Giggle! They are everywhere. Grandkids love them. They are always finding a pretty one. A few more things I like are: Crocheting Knitting Cross Stitch Gardening My Computer Oh and my husband. But what I would really like for you to know about me. Is my love for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So here is my testimony. I hope you'll take a moment & read it.
When I was in the first grade we moved to Uniontown, Kansas. We lived right next door to the 1st Baptist Church. That's where my Mother took us to church. I think back to that time and remember Vacation Bible School and Sunday School classes teaching us how much Jesus loves us. Singing the songs that tell us that was one of my favorite times.
During the summer every year there would be a revival. The year I was around 10 yrs. old they had a revival as usual, with one difference. Every night I wanted to go forward but held back. I wanted to live in heaven one day. On the last night there it was again, the urge to go forward. Several kids had already gone. I finally stepped out and went to the altar. I remember being afraid that people might think I only went forward because the other kids went. I remember worrying that Jesus might think that too. That's the first time I realized I loved Jesus and what he thought was important to me. In Sunday School the teacher always talked about how much Jesus loved us. We sang songs about how much he loved us. I never thought until that night about how much I loved him. I wanted him to know I loved him. As I got older there was a time I drifted away from the Lord. But he never let me forget the time when I realized I loved Jesus. And he guided me back home where I belonged. We may think we can't love him more than we already do. But then something happens; a new joy, comfort during sorrow, a beautiful day, a new lesson learned and our love grows even more. This song says that for me. I Keep Falling In Love With Him by Lanny Wolfe When I first fell in love with Jesus, I gave him all my heart, And I thought I couldn't love him more than I did right at the start; But now I look back over the moutains and the valleys where I've been, And it makes me know I love him so much more than I did then. There's a hand that I hold on to, thro' each valley and each trial, There's a shoulder that I lean upon as I face another mile; There's a love that I can depend on, it's fresh and new each day. And with love my heart is overflowing, that is why I say: I keep falling in love with him, over and over and over and over again; I keep falling in love with him, over and over and over and over again. He gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by, Oh, what a love between my Lord and I; Just keep falling in love with him, over and over and over and over again! I'm one of His lambs.
